.Mac Scheduled Downtime During Apple Event Tomorrow

The .Mac homepage reveals that it’ll be intermittently up and down tomorrow, the same time as the Apple event. Does this mean that fresh .Mac upgrades or uses are part of tomorrow’s news?
Maybe .mac will finally get a face lift and become a useful internet and blogging tool that we can actually take advantage of, or maybe it’s just scheduled maintenance.
What will probably happen is that they will make a few changes now to hold users over until OS10.5 comes out with a whole bunch of back-up features built into .mac and Time Machine, as well as some integrated blogging and podcasting stuff though .mac. But lets hope it’s enough to hold us over, and not just tossing us a bone to keep us happy while they muck around.
I wonder if my free trail is still good, I never did get around to activating it.
