The animation doesn’t only look like it’s from the 80’s the quality is also inconsistent. This is a half-assed job for a property that deserves so much more. As a Dragonlance fan feel insulted.
The Dragonlance movie site, a site I’ve been visiting for six years now, still seems excited about the movie. I’ll hold off [...]

Cory Doctorow’s “See no evil?”

Posted by admin on June 8th, 2007

In recent postings concerning the LiveJounral fiasco I made constant comments concerning the idea of a free and strong Internet. There are two sides to the argument; of course; but I can only see it one way. The way some see it, the internet is like anything else and should be censored with rules by [...]

Cyberpunk vs. The Real World

Posted by admin on May 30th, 2007

GlobalNerdy has published a great table comparing the recent “cyber-attacks” on Estonia with the first fictional account of cyberwar, from William Gibson’s brilliant 1984 debut Neuromancer, the book that gave us the term “cyberspace.” Science fiction writers predict the present, not the future. Gibson’s forthcoming next book, a mind-blower called Spook Country is a [...]

I know you’re out there, even if you don’t wish to admit it. But I am man enough to admit my appreciation for the adventures of the boy wizard, and you should be too!
Well enough making myself look like a giant tool, I want to make it known that the book is now available for [...]
